    Dr. Md. Ibrahim H. Mondal is a Professor and Ex-Chairman in the Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He obtained his MSc in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Technology from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh in 1986. He joined as a lecturer in the same Department in 1990 and his teaching and research are continuing till now. He obtained his PhD degree from Tokyo Metropolitan University, Japan in 1997. Dr Mondal was a Commonwealth Visiting Scholar at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) in the United Kingdom during 2003-04, a Visiting Professor at the Hokkaido University in Japan during 2006-07, and a Visiting Scientist at the Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia during 2009-10. He has been awarded the UGC Gold Medal, Dr. M.A. Wazed Miah International Gold Medal Award, Dean’s award (two times) as a best researcher, Dean’s award for book publication in Elsevier, the best researcher award (Hyderabad, India) and an International Conference “ICRPSET 2024” Rajshahi, “Outstanding Research Achievement” Award. He has been included in the World’s Top 2% Scientists. He supervised research works of over 81 M.Sc., 10 Ph.D. and one M. Phil. students. He published over two hundred and seventy-five research articles, book chapters and proceedings in the international Journal and publishers. He is an author, co-author and editor of seventeen books published internationally on Polymers and textiles from Elsevier (UK), Springer (Switzerland), Nova (USA) and Lambert (Germany).  He completed seventeen research projects funded by UGC, MoST, MoE and Rajshahi University. Biopolymers, biocomposites, cellulose and its derivatives, superabsorbent hydrogels, biomaterials, nanomaterials, microbial cellulose, bioactive and functional textiles, biodegradable plastics, microplastics and wet processing of textiles are his research areas.

    Mr. Md. Aminul Islam is a renowned professional with an outstanding academic background and extensive experience in the field of materials science.

    He holds B.Sc and M.Sc in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Rajshahi. He also completed the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Awarded On 27th September 2018 from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His strong academic background will give him the analytical and strategic skills necessary for excellent technical leadership in the packaging industry. Mr. Islam possesses expertise in the area of education and research, as indicated by the following experiences:

    Mr. Islam, who was born on November 29, 1987, is a Bangladeshi citizen fluent in both Bangla and English, and he integrates local knowledge and international viewpoints into his professional work. His considerable expertise and his steadfast dedication to high standards make him a highly valuable contributor in the research and development field of the flexible packaging sector.
