    Mr. Md. Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan is a distinguished professional with a formidable educational background and extensive experience in the flexible packaging industry.

    He holds an MBA and BBA in Finance from the University of Chittagong, complemented by a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from BIM, Dhaka. This robust academic foundation has endowed him with keen analytical and strategic acumen, essential for exemplary business leadership. With over 26 years of profound industry experience, Mr. Bhuiyan has honed significant expertise in the flexible packaging sector. As Chief Operating Officer at Bengal FlexiPak Ltd. from October 2014 to September 2022, he orchestrated business operations, spearheaded organisational development, and championed process improvements. His specialisation in flexible packaging, disposable items, and PVC sheet manufacturing is underscored by his strategic oversight and adept supply chain management. In his tenure as CEO of Unicorn Industries Limited, Mr. Bhuiyan provided visionary leadership, steering the company towards innovative and efficient flexible packaging solutions. His role at PRAN-RFL Group saw him adeptly managing production planning, supply chain logistics, and market research for plastic products, consistently ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

    Among his notable achievements, Mr. Bhuiyan successfully expanded production capacities and implemented pioneering techniques and rigorous quality control protocols in flexible packaging, thereby enhancing product standards and customer satisfaction. His professional development includes specialised training in lamination techniques and quality control from the Henkel Flexible Packaging Academy in Mumbai, solidifying his technical expertise in the field.

    Fluent in both Bangla and English, Mr. Bhuiyan, born on September 16, 1975, is a Bangladeshi national who brings a blend of local insight and global perspective to his professional endeavours. His extensive experience, coupled with his unwavering commitment to excellence, positions him as an invaluable asset in the flexible packaging industry, poised to drive strategic growth and operational excellence.

With a strong background in strategic management and operational oversight, he has a proven track record of driving organisational growth and success.     Md. Mazharul Islam has a robust educational background and substantial experience in both academic and technical fields. He holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Rajshahi. He is currently working as a PhD research fellow in the department of applied chemistry and chemical engineering at the University of Rajshahi, Rajshahi-6205, Bangladesh. His ability to support high-level strategic initiatives and manage complex operations makes him an invaluable asset to the institute. His collaborative approach and technical acumen ensure seamless integration between administrative functions and technical activities, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence. Mr. Islam has more than ten years of extensive experience in the industry and has developed a strong level of expertise in the flexible packaging sector.

    During his time as SWAN Adhesive Limited’s AGM (Technical) from February 2019 to March 2022, Mr. Islam led the company with vision, guiding it toward creative and effective adhesive solutions for the flexible packaging sector. As Manager of QC & QA at Bengal FlexiPak Ltd. from January 2016 to December 2019, He oversaw organisational development, process enhancements in his accountable department, development of the R&D sector, and coordination of QC & QA operations.

    During his tenure at The Merchants Limited, he demonstrated proficiency in overseeing quality control planning, product development, answering customer complaints, and continuously guaranteeing compliance with the strictest quality and compliance guidelines.

     

    In order to produce high-quality products, Mr. Islam was a key contributor to the creation of SOPs, testing of incoming raw materials, in-process inspections, and testing of completed goods while working as a Quality Control Officer for Kalyar Replica Limited (ACME Group).

    Mr. Islam, a native of Bangladesh born on June 10, 1986, is fluent in both Bangla and English and approaches his work with a combination of local knowledge and a global viewpoint. He is a tremendous contribution to the flexible packaging sector because of his broad knowledge and unwavering dedication to quality.

    His knowledge of machines, research and development, quality control and assurance, and raw materials puts him in a good position to guide the Bangladesh Institute of Packaging toward realising its goals.
