Mr. Md. Iasin Islam is a distinguished professional with a formidable educational background and extensive experience in the flexible packaging industry.
He holds Bsc Engg – EEE from IEB, Dhaka. This robust academic foundation has endowed him with keen analytical and strategic acumen, essential for exemplary business leadership.
With over 22 years of profound industry experience, Mr. Islam has honed significant expertise in the flexible packaging sector.
As Head of Factory Operations at Bengal FlexiPak Ltd., from October 2014 to March 2024, he orchestrated factory operations, spearheaded factory development, and championed process improvements. His specialisation in flexible packaging, disposable items, and PVC sheet manufacturing is underscored by his strategic oversight.
As Head of Factory Operations of Unicorn Industries Limited, Mr. Islam provided visionary leadership, steering the company towards innovative and efficient flexible packaging solutions.
As Head of Factory Operations of Shajinaz Eximpack Ltd., Mr. Islam made strategic production plans, arranged logistics support, and market research for packaging wrapper, consistently ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
As a Production Manager of APBL (Pran- RFL Group), Mr. Islam provided all support to achieve customer satisfaction.
As a Manufacturing Support Manager of The Merchants LTD., Mr. Islam provided all support to achieve customer satisfaction.
Among his notable achievements, Mr. Islam successfully expanded production capacities and implemented pioneering techniques and rigorous quality control protocols in flexible packaging with all compliances, thereby enhancing product standards and customer satisfaction.
Mr. Islam, born on December 25, 1982, is a Bangladeshi national who brings a blend of local insight and global perspective to his professional endeavours. Mr. Md. Aminul Islam is a renowned professional with an outstanding academic background and extensive experience in the field of materials science.
He holds B.Sc and M.Sc in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Rajshahi. He also completed the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Awarded On 27th September 2018 from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His strong academic background will give him the analytical and strategic skills necessary for excellent technical leadership in the packaging industry. Mr. Md. Afsar Uddin is a highly experienced and professional engineer, he has more than 15 years of experience in the engineering sector. He holds a BSc. engineering in Mechatronics, Mechatronics is the perfect blend of mechanical engineering, electronics, and computer science. By acquiring expertise in these areas, you gain a versatile skill set that enables you to work on a variety of projects and solve complex problems.
With over 15 years of profound industry experience, Mr. AFSAR has honed significant expertise in the printing and packaging, textile and food Industry.
Mr. Afsar served for T.K. Food Products Distribution Limited (T.K. Group), as Sr. Manager (Engineering and development). During his vibrant career, he has also experience with Bengal FlexiPak Limited (Bengal Group) and Shajinaz Eximpack Ltd. He also worked with business operations, factory development and project profiles. He specialises in PLC and HMI programming. He has many skills in automation.
He has extensive experience in machine installation, troubleshooting, modification, automation and programming.
He also has experience in Social Audit, FSSC, QMS, Environment and SEDEX audit. He completed training as lead auditor from SGS and AJA. Can speak both Bengali and English fluently, Mr. Afsar, born on June 02, 1986, is a Bangladeshi national. He has a great reputation as an engineer in the packaging industry.

Mijanur Rahman is an expert in technical education, with deep knowledge and experience in curriculum development and quality assurance. He holds B.Sc. engineering in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Rajshahi and M.Sc. in Materials & Metallurgical Engineering, BUET.
His commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in training methodologies ensures that the institute remains a leader in educational excellence. His leadership in research and development drives the institute’s mission to provide top-tier technical education and training.
From May 2020, he is now serving as the Production Manager at Rapid Pack Ltd., where he is responsible for overseeing organisational development, process upgrades, the growth of the R&D sector, and the coordination of QC activities.
He proved to be adept at managing production scheduling, product development, manufacturing, and compliance protocols while he was employed at The Merchants Limited.
Born in Bangladesh on February 06, 1991, Mr. Rahman speaks Bangla and English with ease. He approaches his work by combining his local knowledge with a global perspective. His extensive experience and constant commitment to quality make him a huge asset to the flexible packaging industry.
His expertise in machinery, production management, quality control, and raw materials places him in a strong position to lead the Bangladesh Institute of Packaging toward its objectives.
