Dr. Mirza Humaun Kabir Rubel is currently a full professor (Grade 3, who being promoted with the best criteria among 30 professors) in the Department of Materials Science & Engineering, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh and placed Stanford/Elsevier top 2% scientist/researcher list 2024. He achieved top ranked quality PhD degree entitled “Study on Preparation of Superconducting Perovskite-type Bismuth Oxides by the Hydrothermal Reaction” (2015) in Materials Science/Physics from the University of Yamanashi, Japan. He is actively engaged in research and teaching on different branches of Materials in the Department of MSE. His research interest mainly focuses on Energy, Materials, Engineering and Technology, Materials Physics & Chemistry, and Computational Materials Science of functional structural energy materials especially oxide perovskites to investigate multifunctionality by employing both experimental and theoretical methodologies. His research works have been published in many reputed peer-reviewed journals of high impact factors those competed Dean’s Awards 2020, 2021, and 2023 successively from the faculty of Engineering, University of Rajshahi, best paper awards, grants, and press release for the discovery and excellent research performance. He has joined as an editorial board member of Scientific Reports (Nature Publisher) and also reviewed a significant number of articles from reputed journals, book chapters, and thesis papers in his discipline. Recently, he has concentrated to edit and write several books and chapters on oxide perovskites and magnetic nanomaterials from the invited proposals of Springer, Elsevier, and CRC
press of Taylors and Francis publishers. Noteworthy, Dr. Rubel is continuing collaborative research works with other professors’ laboratories, universities and research institutions not only at the home but also abroad and supervising students at undergraduate and post- graduate levels.
Recently, he has published a book chapter on nanomaterials, and oxide materials from the invited proposals CRC Press of Taylors and Francis.

Mr. Md. Aminul Islam is a renowned professional with an outstanding academic background and extensive experience in the field of materials science.
He holds B.Sc and M.Sc in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Rajshahi. Md. Mazharul Islam has a robust educational background and substantial experience in both academic and technical fields. He holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Rajshahi. He is currently working as a PhD research fellow in the department of applied chemistry and chemical engineering at the University of Rajshahi, Rajshahi-6205, Bangladesh. His ability to support high-level strategic initiatives and manage complex operations makes him an invaluable asset to the institute. His collaborative approach and technical acumen ensure seamless integration between administrative functions and technical activities, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence. Mr. Islam has more than ten years of extensive experience in the industry and has developed a strong level of expertise in the flexible packaging sector.
During his time as SWAN Adhesive Limited’s AGM (Technical) from February 2019 to March 2022, Mr. Islam led the company with vision, guiding it toward creative and effective adhesive solutions for the flexible packaging sector. As Manager of QC & QA at Bengal FlexiPak Ltd. from January 2016 to December 2019, He oversaw organisational development, process enhancements in his accountable department, development of the R&D sector, and coordination of QC & QA operations.
During his tenure at The Merchants Limited, he demonstrated proficiency in overseeing quality control planning, product development, answering customer complaints, and continuously guaranteeing compliance with the strictest quality and compliance guidelines.
In order to produce high-quality products, Mr. Islam was a key contributor to the creation of SOPs, testing of incoming raw materials, in-process inspections, and testing of completed goods while working as a Quality Control Officer for Kalyar Replica Limited (ACME Group).
Mr. Islam, a native of Bangladesh born on June 10, 1986, is fluent in both Bangla and English and approaches his work with a combination of local knowledge and a global viewpoint.
